Steve has lived all over the U.S. His father’s career as an Air Force pilot gave him the opportunity to have many great experiences across America. Today, as a father of two himself, he helps his clients put the pieces of life’s puzzle together so they can focus on what matters. His wide range of interests, from marathons to charities such as Sacramento Food and Family Services, helps him understand what’s important to those who are seeking a work-optional lifestyle. His two sons, Trevor (a 2016 college graduate) and Gavin (a 2023 college freshman), give him valuable perspective on the unique needs of people in various life stages.

Steve co-founded Sutley Wertzer in 2000. His registrations include Series 6, 7, 26, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as California Insurance License #0B28322.
